North Carolina native, Jeanne Melvin's background is surrounded with finance, management, and customer service.  Jeanne was born and raised in the small, quaint town of Swansboro, NC and has experienced first hand for almost three decades the growth and changes of Onslow and the surrounding counties.  Obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management thru the University of North Carolina Wilmington coupled with being a local citizen lays a solid foundation for her career in real estate.  Combine that with continuous education and a strong, resourceful company such as Century 21 American Properties, her clients are exposed to a wealth of knowledge during their real estate transaction.  For instance, she is a member of The Floyd Wickman Team and also received her REOTrans Platinum Certification to stay abreast of the foreclosure market.  She personally participates in the investment opportunities that this area has to offer and gives her clients the same insight into building long-term wealth.  Jeanne prides herself on not only educating and informing her clients to ensure that they are making the best decision for them and their family but strives to establish long-term relationships that last long after escrow.

Jeanne began working at the young age of fifteen at a local drycleaners and worked her way up to a managerial position.  She learned and discovered a tremendous amount first-hand about customer service during her years working as a waitress and bartender to pay her way thru college.  Thru years of hard work, she completely understood the value of a dollar and had saved enough to purchase her first home at the age of 21.  Jeanne always had an interest in real estate, but it wasn't until she began working for a local real estate and vacation rental company that she decided her mission was to become a dedicated real estate broker and assist those who are in the midst of one of the largest decision and investments one may ever make in their life.  Her two dogs, Hannah and Cali were her only babies until recently, when her first daughter was brought into this world.  Jeanne has an amazing other-half who thoroughly supports her in every aspect of her life.  During her down time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.  A favorite hobby is to travel and explore new places (especially restaurants).  Jeanne thoroughly enjoys working in a dynamic community with a balanced economy where she is able to initiate long-lasting relationships with people from all walks of life.  She receives much fulfillment by being allowed to assist the community during one of the most exciting times of their lives and would be honored to do the same for you.
